Durango Blues Train A moving live music event featuring six blues acts aboard the scenic Durango & Silverton Narrow Gauge

The Durango Blues Train is an exclusive live blues event traveling on the Durango & Silverton Narrow Gauge Railroad’s coal-fired, steam-powered locomotive through the spectacular and breathtaking canyons of the San Juan National Forest. The event features live blues bands performing throughout the vintage rail cars and a party environment that will guarantee an unforgettable experience. Each blues

artist performs in their own vintage coach car, where passengers are to free to dance, move and sample all the musical acts while traveling from one railcar to next. Entertainment and favorite libations are peppered with the scenery of the famous train featured in the Hollywood production, “Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid”. Passengers will experience breath taking sunset views as the train winds onto the "Highline," a world famous section of the railroad where the train crawls along cliffs that are four hundred feet above the Animas River in a stretch of the San Juan National Forest, known to be the most beautiful section of the Durango & Silverton Narrow Gauge Railroad.
