A few summers ago we were in New Mexico traveling from Ojo Caliente back up to the Taos Ski Valley and I captured the most beautiful storm moving in.

The one thing that my mind still can’t wrap itself around after 11 years of living in the Southwest is what it looks like when it rains here.

This is my attempt to share with you.

SILVERTON, INTERPRETED

Features a selection of artists from The 9318 Collective whose work reflects the beauty, energy, and elemental character of the San Juan Mountains and the lands that surround them. Through varied styles and mediums, the exhibition offers multiple perspectives on a shared place, celebrating the artistic dialogue between land and maker.

I am so proud to be exhibiting alongside this talented group of artists. This show wouldn't be a reality without our friend and show curator Janice Reich leading the charge.

Hope to see you Saturday at The Decker Community Room in Ridgway, Colorado for our show opening. Noon to 2 pm.
