Golf season may be winding down, but things aren't slowing down at The Overlook!

We've had a great year hosting graduation parties, class reunions, retirement celebrations, and plenty of other gatherings. A big thank you to everyone who chose to celebrate with us! It's been a lot of fun having so many families, friends, and familiar faces come together here.

We're now booking Christmas parties, company gatherings, family celebrations, and other private events!

Winter private rentals start at just $250 for four hours!

We can help put together a meal for your group, and we'll have the bar ready to go!

🎓 Graduation Parties!

Believe it or not, we're already booking graduation parties for next spring and summer! Several dates are already spoken for, so it's definitely not too early to start planning.

Whether you're celebrating a retirement, graduation, holiday, or just getting everyone together for a good time, we'd love to have you at The Overlook!

We're calling it an early day at The Overlook! Closing at 3:30 PM today due to the chilly, blustery weather.

Stay warm, and go Panthers! 🏈🐾

🥶 Course & Clubhouse Update!

It's just a plain crummy day out there! 50 degrees, blustery, and not exactly ideal golfing weather.

We're going to call it an early day. The clubhouse and The Overlook will be closing at 3:30 PM today.

Members are welcome to brave the cold, and anyone else who feels the need to golf can use the pay box. But you're crazy! 😂

❄️ Looking ahead to Saturday morning:

We're expecting frost overnight, so we'll be getting a later start tomorrow.

Clubhouse opens at 9:30 AM
First tee time at 10:00 AM

That should give the frost time to melt off and our mowing and setup crew a chance to get ahead of play.

And for those of you heading to Mondovi for tonight's game, bundle up! It's going to be a cold one, but it should be a good game! We'll be watching and cheering on the Durand Panthers from the comfort and warmth of our home! 🏈

The Smokehouse Burger is back at The Overlook!

We’re bringing back one of our favorites this week, a local beef patty topped with American Swiss, house-made smoked pulled pork, house-made BBQ sauce, and house-made slaw on a toasted bun.

Served with homemade chips for $12.99.

Smoky, saucy, messy, and definitely not a light snack.

We’ve been a little quiet on here lately.

It’s been an incredibly busy stretch with events, fall golf, winter prep, and trying to get as much work done on the course as we can before the weather turns.

But we’re still here, and this week’s Burger of the Week is ready to go.

We’re featuring the Creamy Italian Bacon Tomato Burger, made with a local beef patty, Eau Galle Creamy Italian cheese, Durand Smokehouse bacon, tomato, and garlic aioli on a toasted bun.

And yes, there’s a pretty good chance Sarah helped make the cheese. Most of you may or may not know this, but Sarah works full-time at the Eau Galle Cheese Factory, so this one has a little extra local connection for us.

Served with homemade chips for $12.99.

Quick update from The Overlook:

The golf course is closed today due to the weather, but The Overlook will still be open for dinner starting at 4:00 PM.

If your golf plans got rained out, stop in, grab a bite, and make the best of a rainy day with us.

Dinner starts at 4:00. See you then!

🌧️ COURSE CLOSED TODAY

With steady rain expected throughout the day and wet conditions continuing, the golf course will be closed for the rest of today.

The good news, The Overlook at Rolling Greens will still open at 4:00 PM for dinner service.

So, no golf today, but you can still come out for dinner, drinks, and a warm, dry seat inside.

Labor Day hours today at The Overlook. We’ll be closing at 6:00 PM so our crew can enjoy the rest of the holiday with family. Happy Labor Day! 🇺🇸

We’re open today, but we’re going to wrap things up a little early so our crew can enjoy what’s left of Labor Day with their families.

The Overlook food update

The Overlook will be closed for regular food service today as we host the EPC Wolves Athletic Department Fundraiser and Denny Haglund Memorial Golf Tournament.

We have a busy day ahead of us, but even if you are not golfing in the tournament, you are still welcome to stop up, support the cause, buy raffle tickets, and enjoy a meal.

Today’s meal is a local beef cheeseburger with homemade chips for $10.

Good luck to everyone participating today. It’s going to be a great day at Rolling Greens!

The Overlook food update

Well, that didn’t last long.

Unfortunately, we will not be open for lunch for the foreseeable future. We’re still working through staffing challenges, and right now the best way for us to be consistent is to focus on dinner service.

For now, the grill will be open:

Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday
4:00 PM to 8:00 PM

Weekend grill hours will vary depending on staffing, tournaments, and private events, so we’ll keep posting updates as we have them.

We’re sorry for the back and forth. We really are trying to build this thing into something special, but at the moment dinner is what we can commit to and do well.

We’re open for lunch again, starting at 11 AM.

And we’re keeping it classic this week.

The Clubhouse Burger is topped with American cheese, lettuce, tomato, pickles, onions, and our house-made Clubhouse Sauce on a toasted bun.
