Elko's would like to offer our deepest sympathy to the Family of Ray Wasko on his passing this morning. Ray and his brothers were staples at Elkos and always bowled on numerous leagues. Fly high, Ray! 🙏🌹

After much contemplation and feelings of sadness, the Elko Family has made the decision to retire from the bowling business.

After the passing of our Father, "Billy Elko", and faced with the decision of how to balance our own careers and lives with continuing to run the Family bowling alley in the manner our father did, it has been decided that the time has come to allow his Legacy to end with him.

He successfully operated this bowling alley with many years of his time and energy. We were a part of that history, but now feel it is time to step away and concentrate on our personal lives.

We will never forget our dedicated bowlers, who without their support, we would not have been able to grow Elko's into its success as a six lane bowling house that our Father operated as its Proprietor. He was a mentor to many young people and shaped many lives over the years.

We would like to thank and acknowledge our customers for being a part of "Bill's" bowling family. Our father was always grateful to each and every one of you.

We hope you will always remember him and Elko's as a staple in the Community, and the fun and friendship that it brought to so many lives.

May his Legacy remain forever in our hearts!

Elko's would like to offer its deepest sympathy to the Family on the passing of James Chimento. Jimmy bowled for many years on the Pittston Twp. League and served as its Secretary. Jimmy was 100 years old. May he rest in Peace! 🙏
