Seth and I had a little time to kill, so we caught up with a couple esteemed colleagues. Perennial cool cats Kevin and Kelly teach drum, bass, piano, and guitar lessons in Decatur, GA. (oooh, yeah. . . alliteration) They used their super funk powers to lay down a tight jam. Similarly, I used my super index finger powers to press record. Needless to say, the syncos were amply pated and the bass was thoroughly slapped. It was a collaboration for the ages, to say the least. Anyway. . . enjoy!

I think the headline says it all. Here it is the middle of the summer, and I've only just had a bit of time to sit down and share some of the stuff we got up to this year. Soooooo. Here it is! Help fund the Crawford Long Middle School music program by picking up a copy of the album "Being for the Benefit of Crawford Long!" Presented in luxuriously self-indulgent 44.1k, 16 bit digital audio, this project is led by local youth acts Array, No Komment, Missing Cat, and Maggie Sims. It also includes tracks from other artists performing at this year's Lemonade Days festival. Here are a few pictures from Array's recording session for the Crawford Long Middle charity CD we're working on for Lemonade Days. . . "we're" being DunwoodyMusic.net, that is. . . "we're" also includes Array, as you likely ascertained from the previously mentioned photos. . . I guess that was superfluous, but my grammar teacher always stressed the importance of clarity. :-/
