Chalk Pastel Still Life inspired by Cezanne
Summer Week 5

Impressive artwork this week! Students learned about Cezanne and still life artwork. They used apples, oranges and pears to create a gray scale study. Then they made color wheels and chose their favorite composition to use chalk pastels on black paper creating their masterpieces. We focused on blending the pastels and talked about midtones, shadows and highlights. These artists did a fantastic job!

Landscapes with Marker inspired by Matisse
Summer Lesson 4

Students used sharpies and crayola markers to create mountain landscapes on geometric shaped canvas. They did two masterpieces, one with warm colors and the other with cool colors. Amazing art by amazing artists.

Summer Art Lesson Three 2025 - Monet inspired Beach Painting

Another a week of amazing and impressive artwork. Artists learned about Monet and some of his seascapes. Then they created their own Beach Painting. Students mixed their own colors and added real sand. Some students had time to make sand slime. Beautiful masterpieces! ☀️🌊🎨

Summer Art Lesson Three 2025 -
Pop Art Movement

These young artists are impressive and amazing! They learned about how Futurism and Cubism influenced the Pop Art movement. The students used a variety of mediums to create their masterpieces inspired by a mix of all three art movements. These kiddos did great with this intricate and fun project!

Summer Art Lesson Two 2025 - Printmaking

These awesome artists had a messy good time creating prints and marbled paper. They made creative relief prints with foam and watercolor backgrounds. We also used shaving cream and food coloring to make marbled paper. They did amazing! 🎨🖌️❤️
