Dunmore Rocks: Rockin’ with Quinn and Friends

“It was a great afternoon to hide rocks because it’s sunny and not too cold. We painted some of them to look like conversation hearts. Also, we decorated the little free library for Valentine’s Day and restocked it. I hope that kids like the books, there are some pretty funny ones. Keep rockin’!”

We did a family walk today on the trails at Dunmore Reservoir. It was a good place to leave some painted rocks. Our dog Maisie swam in the streams and we also saw some toads and picked up some litter.
The Rez is a great place, everyone should check it out. 👍🏼

Today I painted rocks with my sister and some friends, and we hid a bunch outside at school.
Then my mom helped me refill the library box by the kindergarten doors and also we decorated it for Spring.
If you like to paint rocks too, you could hide some around our school because we LOVE finding them!

We went to my Nani and Poppy’s house today. Everybody wanted to paint a rock. Even Pop Pop and he is 90 something years old. It was great. - Quinn

Hi, I’m Quinn. I’m a kindergartner at Dunmore Elementary Center and I love painted rocks.
I like decorating rocks with my family and hiding them outside for other people to find.
Finding a rock with a silly design or a kind saying on it makes me smile; I hope it makes you smile, too.
