The 4 County Fair simply wouldn’t be the same without your continued generosity and support. From the fresh pancakes and sausage to the orange juice, milk, and hot coffee, every bite is always delicious. Even better, it’s all served with smiles by the amazing Cogdill crew!

This breakfast has become a tradition that so many of our exhibitors and families look forward to each year, and we’re incredibly grateful for everything you do to help make our fair such a special place.

It's Mud Volleyball Day at the 4 County Fair!

🏐 Tournament starts at 3:00 PM
📝 Team registration closes at 2:00 PM so we can finalize the brackets.
💲 Entry fee: $100 per team
🏆 Cash prizes paid to the TOP 3 teams!
🔥 Double-elimination tournament, so everyone gets more than one chance to battle it out in the mud!

What a way to kick off the morning! 🍕☀️

A HUGE thank you to Roberto’s Pizza for generously donating breakfast pizza for our 4 County Fair exhibitors this morning!

Needless to say, it was a HUGE hit! The pizza disappeared fast, and there were a lot of happy exhibitors, families, and volunteers fueling up for a busy day at the fair.

We are incredibly grateful for local businesses like Roberto’s Pizza that continue to support our fair and the youth who make it so special. Please join us in thanking them for their generosity! ❤️👏

A huge THANK YOU to FMCTC for helping keep the 4 County Fair connected! 🎉

This year, FMCTC provided internet service to our fair office, concession stands, and livestream locations, and we couldn’t be more grateful. Their team was incredibly responsive, professional, and had everything up and running in no time.

Because of their support, we’ve been able to keep fair operations running smoothly and, for the first time ever, many of our locations are able to accept credit card payments! 💳 That convenience has made a big difference for our fairgoers, exhibitors, and vendors alike.

Thank you, FMCTC, for your outstanding service and for being such a valued partner of the 4 County Fair. We truly appreciate your support in helping make this year’s fair a success! 👏❤️

Our final Friday Feature goes to our newest Fair Board member, the one and only Tyler Schwery!

While Tyler may be the newest member of the Fair Board, he’s been hanging around the fairgrounds for years. Long before joining the board, he was already volunteering his time and lending a hand wherever it was needed. Today, he serves as one of our swine superintendents and is one of the driving forces behind the ATV Drags, one of the biggest crowd favorites of fair week. If you’ve ever enjoyed an action-packed night at the drags, there’s a good chance Tyler had a hand in making it happen!

Tyler is always quick with a witty comeback, never afraid to jump in and help, and somehow manages to be just about everywhere at once during fair week. If you can’t find him, he’s probably fixing something, chasing down the next project, or checking on his corn.

Speaking of corn… Tyler takes the Tallest Corn competition in our Home & Garden Show very seriously. Some people grow corn to feed livestock. Tyler grows corn for bragging rights… and let’s be honest, that bonus money doesn’t hurt either! We’re pretty sure his corn gets better care than most people’s lawns.

Whether he’s helping in the swine barn, working behind the scenes to make the ATV Drags a success, or lending a hand wherever it’s needed, Tyler’s dedication, sense of humor, and willingness to serve make him a tremendous asset to the Four County Fair.

Thank you, Tyler, for stepping up to serve on the Fair Board and for everything you do to make our fair a success. We’re glad to have you on the team… even if we’re all a little tired of hearing about how tall his corn is going to be this year!

🎉 It’s Tractor Pull Night! 🚜💨

The rain has held off, the track is coming together nicely, and the tractors are rolling in!

Come on out for an evening of great entertainment, delicious food, and ice-cold drinks. Bring your family and friends, cheer on the pullers, and enjoy a fun night to kick off the fair!

🌟 Next Up in Our Friday Feature Series: Jeff Mordhorst! 🌟

Next up in our Friday Feature series is none other than Jeff Mordhorst!

Jeff has been a dedicated member of the 4 County Fair Board for many years, serving as our Vice President and one of our Beef Superintendents. If you've spent any time around the fairgrounds, you've probably seen Jeff hard at work... even if you haven't actually *seen* Jeff! He's definitely the strong, silent type. In fact, I had to search high and low to find a photo of him to share. Thankfully, his trusty sidekick (and equally dedicated fair volunteer), Colin, had plenty of pictures for me to "borrow!" 📸😄

Jeff is the kind of volunteer every organization hopes to have. He quietly tackles whatever needs to be done, never looking for recognition or the spotlight. Whether it's setting up, fixing something, helping with the cattle, or jumping in wherever another set of hands is needed, Jeff is always there. And Colin is usually right beside him. Together, they're the definition of "many hands make light work."

Jeff's dedication doesn't stop at the 4 County Fair. He has been a tremendous supporter of youth and agriculture throughout Monona County, serving as a 4-H leader and being actively involved with the Monona County Farm Bureau. His commitment to giving back has made a lasting impact on countless young people and our agricultural community.

Jeff, thank you for everything you do behind the scenes. The 4 County Fair simply wouldn't be possible without volunteers like you. We appreciate your hard work, your humble leadership, and your unwavering dedication more than you know!

If you see Jeff around the fair this week, be sure to give him a well-deserved thank you... just don't expect him to stop long enough for another picture! 😉👏
