MIDNIGHT MADNESS - Friday, 7pm-midnight, at MLK, Jr. Recreation Center & Stirling Skate Park. Early Bird: $15 (if registered by Thursday prior). Day of event: $20 (if space is available). Skate, scooter, play ‘til midnight & test your skills on extreme inflatables or the games truck. The fun also includes mini scooter/skate jams, music, give-aways & a snack food buffet. Presented by Dunedin Parks & Recreation & hosted by the Youth Advisory Committee.
SCOTTISH HERITAGE DAY - Saturday, 8am-5pm, at the Scottish American Society (917 Louden Ave). Our First Scottish Heritage Day at the Scottish Cultural Center in Dunedin! Join us to learn a wee bit about Scotland, its heritage, & relationship to Dunedin. Learn a little something about the traditions & holidays of Scotland & gain some tips on the genealogy websites with a short lesson in Scots Gaelic. We've got something for all ages from 4+. (8-10 am) Scottish Storytelling in English & Gaelic, Coloring, finger painting & songs for the young ones! (10am-noon) Gaelic lesson, Gaelic song & a performance for us! (Noon-1pm) Lunch provided of Scotch eggs, Sausage rolls & crisps. Our bar will be open from noon. (1-5 pm) Genealogy & Scottish history. Kids $5/Adults$15. Tickets can be purchased on Eventbrite. STRIKE OUT FOR AIDS DUNEDIN - Saturday, 6-9pm, at Dunedin Lanes. Help EPIC Strike Out HIV In Our Community! It’s a luau on the lanes! Join the FUNdraiser this summer with EPIC’s 15th Annual Strike Out for AIDS August 27 in Dunedin. Come dressed to impress no one in your finest tacky tourist threads! EPIC provides essential HIV & STI services & support throughout Tampa Bay. Help us continue to offer these life-changing services as we work to stamp out HIV. POKER RUN - Saturday, starting at 11:30am-5pm. Please join us for a Poker Run FUNdraiser supporting Random Acts of Flowers Tampa Bay & the Greater Palm Harbor Chamber of Commerce. Every dollar is a “vote” for Dawn M. Larson Scott who is competing for the Honorary Mayor of Palm Harbor title for 2023! Your contribution will be split evenly between RAF & the Greater Palm Harbor Chamber of Commerce to assist with multiple projects in our community. Dawn’s goal is $50,000 in honor of her 50th Birthday. Only $30 per person = 5 stops. Also: 50/50 raffle, raffle baskets, & drink specials. FREE COMEDY OPEN MIC - Thursday, 8-10pm, at Soggy Bottom Brewing Co. This is our monthly Open Mic at the Soggy Bottom Brewery. Always the last Thursday of the month. It's free to watch or participate. Come up & tell a few jokes! We have many local pros working out new material - folks trying comedy for the first time. And anything in between! 5 minute sets! PLAY MUSIC ON THE PORCH DAY - Saturday, 10am-1pm, at Scone Age Bakery & Cafe. Connie Manson, Peter Grace, Tony DiGiorgio, Emily & Mike Stehle (Two Happy Ukers) & Cosmo Sagristanto will perform some of their favorite songs on the "porch" of Scone Age Cafe. All musicians (Ukers especially) & singers are invited to join us playing selections from the Dunedin Ukes songbook. Bring yourselves, instruments (all & any!), chairs, music stands, etc. Enjoy the light menu at the Cafe, specially the scones, of course! Scone Age will offer a special gift of a free mini gelato or coffee for participants with a purchase of $25 or more! We'll be joining hundreds of folks all over the world gathering together to celebrate music & friendship & videotaping ourselves that day!

FRUITFUL DAY IN THE GARDEN - Friday, 9am-12pm, at First Presbyterian Church of Dunedin. Join the Construction Team, Planting & Harvesting Team, or Maintenance Team that’ll be preparing seating areas, transplanting seedlings, harvesting vegetables, & the usual mulching, weeding, & general tidying up of the garden. We’ve designed jobs for various interests & ability levels. If you’re able to lend us a couple hours of your time, bring your gardening hat & gloves & meet us at the picnic tables between 9:00am & noon to get started. Garden tools, water, & snacks will be provided.

IN THE MOMENT FLOW - Saturday, 9-10:15am, at Dunedin Youth Guild Park. It's time to lean in, unroll your mat, & unwind your week. Practice is about 75 minutes with breathwork, postures, & Savasana. Props are encouraged for ease (such as a block, strap, rolled up blanket). Recommended: Water to hydrate & a large blanket for under your mat (gives you freedom to move/ stretch beyond your mat).
