What an incredible 7 days for Progressive Arts Theater talents… truly one of those weeks that reminds us how special this community is. ✨

Last Sunday, 9 of our students were featured in a PSA for the Dunedin History Museum — helping bring local history to life in such a meaningful way.

Our very own Maddie Munson co-starred in a SOLD OUT show with Dunedin Public Theater — we could not be more proud.

A small group of our singers was invited to sing at the Peace Pole dedication at First Presbyterian Church of Dunedin — sharing music, unity, and heart with our community.

And… our director just found out the film she is the female lead in has been nominated for TWO awards at the Sunscreen Film Festival!! 🎬✨

And that is not even all of it…
This week was also filled with auditions for film, television, and commercials, plus amazing classes and continued growth from so many of our performers.

Our Curtis outreach class celebrated their end-of-year show — and it was everything. The growth, the confidence, the joy… exactly why we do this. 💖

To our Progressive Arts kids and adults — we are so proud of you. Thank you for everything you bring to this community. 💖

Progressive Arts is thrilled to announce that our very own amazing talent Maddie Munson is co-starring in, “The Islander,” as part of A Play, A Pie, and A Pint this Thursday! We could not be more proud of her hard work, dedication, and the way she continues to shine onstage. She is professional beyond her years and truly digs deep in this role for the Dunedin Public Theater.

A heartfelt thank you to Dunedin Public Theater for bringing more incredible theater and opportunities to our community. We are so grateful for everything you are doing, your mission, and the heart you are pouring into the arts. We are absolutely over the moon about this production and already hoping you will present it again since it is sold out!

If you were not able to grab tickets, do not worry—you can still see some amazing Progressive Arts Theater talent live this week. Join us this Friday at the Peace Pole Showcase: Peace in Action at First Presbyterian Church of Dunedin where we will be sharing a beautiful, heartfelt song. Then come celebrate with us again on May 31st at Family Pride Day in the Park where we will be performing two full sets for the community.
