Wrapped up my last class with as far as I can remember my favorite student of all time. You meet lots of folks in this biz and most of them I called friends. This particular student felt like family and by the end of the 8 days she is family to my wife and I . It was sad to see her leave and hopefully we get together again and pick up were we left off. So much more I want to say but now is not the time- yet!
Here is the fish we completed in the class!

Still have just a lil bit to do but almost done with the seminar/class. We wrap it up tomorrow!

Oh My McKenzie

I Ordered a walk in order and klei was not there so it needed to be shipped freight exempt.
I ordered the 1 pound kit and it was coming from Texas.
It arrived and as you can see I only got part A of the 2 part apoxie and it is the larger size.
How?
So called and they are reshipping it again free and I asked what to do with this and I was told keep it!

So now ya know why prices go up every year .

I can’t explain what has happened at McKenzie but boy do I miss the old days.

taxidermists often ask where should I buy replicas and I tell them I generally i mold the client’s fish or use my replicas or turn away the work.
These pics are of a blank I purchased cause the angler just doesn’t kill fish and I didn’t have anything to suit. It is what it is I guess. Oh yeah I also waited about 6 1/2 months to receive it.

It is what it is and we will polish this turd up
