If you have a pile of lumber, nails, screws, tin, and other building materials, you could make a variety of things. You could build a shed, a church, a doghouse, or even a home. Now, if you have a kit, it is a collection of materials with a specific outcome in mind, along with instructions to complete it. It may be a log cabin, a house, or a model car, but all those parts are meant to come together to create a particular thing.
Many people treat their life like a pile of materials and go about creating whatever they want. They usually tear it down after a while and try to make something else, or they don’t have enough materials to do what they want. It usually ends up in a mess. You may not realize it, but your life is actually a kit. God has a plan for your life. He has an outcome for your life. He gives you all the materials you need to become who He wants you to be, and even gives you directions from His Holy Word on how to proceed. He even gives you the ability to add some personal touches of your own, but He has the master plan. Let God build you and create you according to His will, and you will find who you were meant to be. To God be all the glory.
Jeremiah 29:11 For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans for welfare and not for evil, to give you a future and a hope.
