The top Cowboys and Cowgirls that competed in the Oklahoma, Kansas and Nebraska Prairie Circuit will converge at the Stephens County Fairgrounds Indoor Arena for their chance to become the 2019 Prairie Circuit Champion in their respective events.
The Prairie Circuit Rodeo Committee is made up of local business men and women from Duncan, OK and the Stephens County area who volunteer their time and talents to bring this PRCA Championship Rodeo to the Stephens County Fairgrounds each October.
The Committee is proud to bring contestants and their families from Oklahoma, Kansas and Nebraska, as well as rodeo fans from all over, to witness this unrivaled event.
As part of our commitment to Stephens County, the money raised by the Prairie Circuit Finals Rodeo stays in our local community. We have donated over $30,000 to the Stephens County Youth Shelter, American Cancer Society / Relay for Life, and the Taylor Le Norman / McCasland Cancer Center and the Alzheimer’s Association. With the help of our great sponsors and ticket sales, we look to increase this amount every year!
Also, we are proud to offer the area 4th Graders with a "Preview of the Rodeo" Day on Wednesday prior to the Rodeo. We enjoy educating the younger generation about the sport and history of rodeo, the rodeo personnel and the importance of care for the livestock. During the "Preview of the Rodeo," the students get to spend time in the rodeo arena, practicing their roping skills and barrel racing skills, listening to the stock contractors and rodeo clowns, and meeting Miss Rodeo Oklahoma, Miss Rodeo Kansas and Miss Rodeo Nebraska.
