grew up around tattooing, always loved drawing and painting, and spent a lot of time in the Duluth Denfeld High School art room!
Living a life dedicated to creating art has always been her hopeful dream-not just for herself, but in service to others, crafting meaningful pieces for people to carry with them.
After receiving her Bachelor's of Arts in Psychology and studying studio art in college, Jessica began her tattoo journey in 2015.
The shared experience and intention between artist and client is tremendously important to Jessica. With a trauma-informed background, her approach helps ensure clients feel a sense of comfort and safety empowerment, trust, fun, and participation in the creative process. She believes in cultivating a well-rounded skillset in tattooing. The combination of artistry in various mediums, mindful client connection continuous learning, curiosity, and respect for the craft make tattooing a lifelong passion and gift.
Aiming to be well-rounded and genuinely enjoying multiple styles of tattooing, she has a personal passion for styles and subiect matters that include but are not imited to: large-scale black and arev and blackwork compositions, ornamental-focused work, neo-traditional with bold colors, illustrative, the occult, botanical and nature, mythology, mastectomy work, top scar coverups, and Japanese-influenced work. Her focus is to create tattoos for people that will stand the test of time, to cultivate a space where clients feel at home, and to meet people where they are at in their life.
Jessica is currently completing a 9 month Depth Psychology program. Upon completion she will be regulated by MDH as a Practitioner in the Alternative and Holistic Health Services within Fable Grove. She will share more towards the end of the year as she finishes her capstone project on opportunities with her in the studio alongside tattooing.
Outside of tattooing Jessica attends local events when she can. She did her very first burlesque performance this year and is excited to do more. She enjoys learning, tending to all her plants, magic, and snuggling at home with Josh and their fur babies.
