A couple days away! We’re joining in their ‘Spring Pottery Sale’ Saturday May 30th 12-4pm at 🌱Lot’s of new work! Espresso mugs, bud vases, big mugs, plates….and more!! A portion of sales will be donated to , who will be there on Saturday, as well, to share about their upcoming projects. Would be great to see you🌱☀️

One of the best things about living in Duluth is getting to be a part of the amazing pottery community here. We’re overjoyed to be joining this coming Saturday, May 30th, for their Spring Pottery Sale at from 12-4pm. We’ll be set up alongside some of the best humans, who happen to be fantastic potters, too! We’ll have a wide selection of our pottery there…this is our first show of the season, come see what we’ve been working on! In addition to the joy that comes with buying a locally handmade piece of ceramic art, I’m happy to announce that a portion of the proceeds from this event will be donated to the to help them keep doing the amazing job of restoring the St. Louis River Estuary💙🐟🌊They will be set up during the event, as well, to share information about their upcoming projects! We’re excited to be a part of this on May 30th! We’ll be set up along with our buddies in the Lake Superior Ceramics Guild setting pots at Ursa Minor Brewing! Each participating clay artist is donating a portion of their sales to St. Louis River Alliance in celebration of Mother Earth this Spring🌱This will be our first in person event of the year and we can’t wait to see all of you!!!

🌱Lake Superior Ceramics Guild is having a Spring Pottery sale on May 30th at Ursa Minor Brewing! A portion of the funds from this sale will be donated to the St. Louis River Alliance, who is working to protect, restore and enhance the St. Louis River🌊💧🐟. We love having pottery sales that give back to our community! Come pick out a piece of pottery and help take care of the waters that make this such a wonderful place to call home.

We will be set up at Ursa Minor Brewing from noon-4pm on Saturday, May 30th. We’ll have a wide selection of pottery made by our guild members for sale! Hope to see you!

I painted a couple Snowy Owl mugs while reminiscing about seeing one this past winter. It was so amazing to follow around in search for owls in the frigid January temps. I have a couple of these mugs in the online shop right now and 15% of all proceeds from this restock will got to . I made this ceramic wall hanging to honor Cedar after spending last year studying plant medicine in ‘The Verdant Path’ with Emma Day. Cedar is amazing, its smoke dispells negativity, shifting the energy of a space. It protects us, shifts the waters of the body and shifts our consciousness. I’m thinking about Cedar now as we’re going through this tumultuous time, as it “helps to irritate the system to wake it up”. As the systems around us are faltering and our very democracy is at risk, I think our system is beyond irritated. Time to wake up to what is happening and be of service to our neighbors and communities, to connect our roots to the roots around us in care and reciprocity, as Cedar does. My pieces are hanging in the Enger Lofts Hallway outside of North&Shore until the end of this month…which is very soon! This show has been such a great experience for me and I’ve learned so much. I’m behind on posting images of all the pieces on here, I’ll be catching up with that in the next couple months as I begin to work on a new body of work. This Cedar piece has already gone to its new home, but there are many more pieces on view for the rest of the week. Much love to you all!❤️
