Contact us if you are energetic, love a fair, and would like to be part of the “Best Ten Days of Fall.” Great opportunity for new retirees or people looking supplemental income.

UPDATE: We hire numerous seasonal workers during the fair. To submit an application request one through [email protected]. Submit the application. If we have something available that seems to fit you, you will be contacted and we will discuss more details about the job.

UPDATE 2: We have had a large number of applicants. We will close applicantions at this time until we can review those we have received. If we need additional ones later, we will repost.

The Wayne County Livestock Development Association, Inc (WCLDA), represented by Eddie Pitzer and Jennifer Johnson, presented a grant to Eastern Wayne High School Principal, Dane Jones, Agriculture Teacher, Chris Hicks and the Eastern Wayne FFA officers today. This grant will be used buy equipment and supplies to enhance their Animal Science Classes and the FFA Program. WCLDA owns and operates the Wayne Regional Agricultural Fair.

Inquiring Minds want to know what we're doing on the fairgrounds, Many have noticed as you drive down 117. We are completing the Livestock Arena we built last year by adding siding, doors, and windows, to make it more user friendly in all kinds of weather.

🔇 Quiet Hours: 9:00–11:00 AM
👶 Children 1 & under: Free admission
🚂 Pickle Train Rides: FREE for the first 200 kids, then just $1 per rider!
📍 Parking: Located in the lot on Genoa Road
⏰ Event ends at 2:00 PM

Come hungry—food vendors will be on site! And don’t forget, we’ll have a huge sand pile for kids to dig, play, and enjoy! 🏖️

Squares from The Quilt Square Contest, held at our 2025 Fair, were joined and quilted by Nunckle Nandy's Quilt Shop. The quilt was given away at the Wayne County Livestock Development Association's Annual Meeting. Joyce Hood won the quilt and very generously donated it back to the fair to be placed on display. Thanks to all who participated in the contest and to Joyce for her generosity in giving it back. We appreciate all of you. It's beautiful!
