This upcoming First Friday and Sequel Saturday, meet and learn the creative process of Jennifer Braig. Jenny is an oil painter and Dubuque native.

During her live demonstration, you’ll be able to watch her create a new oil painting and purchase her most recent creations, as shown below!

Sequel Saturday is the gallery’s creation and extension of the previous night’s demonstration, while First Friday is hosted by All Together Dubuque. This monthly event is a great opportunity to explore downtown Dubuque art!

Join us in celebrating an incredible young artist! 🙌

Nevaeh Kessler, a senior at Dubuque Senior High School, is one of the recipients of the Great Draw Visual Arts Scholarship. This scholarship recognizes local high school graduates pursuing a degree in the arts. It is made possible by generous community donations through the annual Great Draw Street Art Competition hosted by OTLAG.

Nevaeh plans to continue her artistic journey by studying Interior Design at Iowa State, a path that beautifully reflects her talent and passion.

Her portfolio showcases a diverse and thoughtful range of pieces, including her “Contrary” collage, a ceramic set, jewelry, and sculpture work. Each piece highlights her creativity, dedication, and unique artistic voice.

Congratulations, Nevaeh! We can’t wait to see where your creativity takes you next.
