On January 10, come out and hear Adam McPeak & Mountain Thunder, followed by Gap Civil play from 6PM - 8:30PM! Admission is free! Donations are accepted to help pay band expenses.
Adam McPeak & Mountain Thunder is a group of bluegrass musicians based in Wythe County, Virginia, that organized when Adam was just 13 years old. They have performed in major regional festivals such as RenoFest, at popular venues including Lays Hardware in Coeburn and on public television’s “Song of the Mountains.” Performing with the group tonight are Adam McPeak, Mike McPeak, Nikki Wright, Steve Chrisley, David Chrisley, and Lindsey Jackson.
Gap Civil is an Appalachian mountain music band who built on their motto of honor and innovate. They honor the mountain traditions that have shaped and rooted their music, and they take great pride in innovative and exciting original songs, tunes and arrangements. Fluidly blending the genres of old time, country, bluegrass and Americana, their music is sure to make you want to dance. Gap Civil was formed in 2017, based in Sparta, North Carolina and features Todd Hiatt, Chris Johnson, Lucas Pasley, and Kyle Dean Smith.
