Due to much cooler temperatures and showers forecasted throughout the evening, the Evelyn Alexander Waterpark will close at 5:00 PM today (Friday, August 7), and our Back to School Bash Evening Swim has been canceled.

☀️ The good news? Summer isn't over yet!

Join us beginning tomorrow, Saturday, August 8, as we transition to our weekend-only schedule through the end of August:

🏊 Saturdays: 11:00 AM – 7:00 PM
🏊 Sundays: 1:00 PM – 6:00 PM

The overcast skies have kept our usual crowd away, so the Evelyn Alexander Waterpark will close at 5:00 PM today (Monday, August 3).

We're looking forward to seeing everyone tomorrow for what we hope will be a much sunnier day! ☀️ The waterpark reopens at 11:00 AM.

🚨 WATERPARK UPDATE – TUESDAY, JULY 28 🚨

Our plans to stay open as long as possible for camps and public swim today have already been interrupted by multiple thunder and lightning delays.

In coordination with the National Weather Service and Pulaski County Emergency Management, the Evelyn Alexander Waterpark will be closed for the remainder of today, Tuesday, July 28. Rain and severe storms are projected to continue moving through our area this morning and into the afternoon.

☀️ The good news? The radar is showing sunny skies after today, and we are excited to get back to summer fun tomorrow!

☀️ We're ready for some sunshine!

The Evelyn Alexander Waterpark will operate on a delayed schedule tomorrow, Saturday, July 25, and will be open 12:00 PM – 7:00 PM.
There will be no Adult Lap Swim tomorrow morning.

The forecast is finally looking up, with temperatures expected to reach the 70s around lunchtime and the rain moving out around the same time. We'd say that's the perfect recipe for a day at the pool!

Due to the forecasted cooler temperatures, overcast skies, and intermittent showers, the Evelyn Alexander Waterpark will be closed Friday, July 24.

With temperatures expected to remain in the 60s through the morning and into the afternoon, conditions are not ideal for pool operations.

Thursday, 7/23/26 - Evelyn Alexander Waterpark Weather Closure

With cool, overcast skies sticking around all day and temperatures not expected to creep into the low 70s until later this afternoon, we've made the decision to close the pool for our scheduled operational hours (11:00 AM – 7:00 PM) today.

We're wondering if someone accidentally hit the "October" button instead of "July." 🍂😅

We're keeping a close eye on similar weather patterns for tomorrow and will keep everyone posted with any updates.

We're planning to open from 11:00 AM – 2:00 PM today to squeeze in as much swim time as possible before the next round of rain and storms moves in this afternoon and evening. ☀️💦
