Columbus DanceArts Academy is a performance based academy for all ages and experience levels including a pre-professional program.

We emphasize success based instruction, encouraging every dancer to achieve their personal goals in a positive learning environment. CDA offers a wide variety of dance arts and puts teaching quality technique and individual artistic development first and foremost.

We would like to invite all eligible dancers to perform in CDA’s exciting holiday production of Alice in Winterland! ❄️

This unique performance includes a cast of dancers ages 1st grade through 12th grade who
perform two “road show” performances in the community as well as two public performances at a local theater. The show is filled with great music, beautiful costumes, wonderful dancing and a story full of fun and adventure.

Register Early - We will accept the FIRST 75 registrations only!

Registration materials are attached in emails sent and available at the CDA front counter.

DEADLINE - Saturday, September 19th

Please read the attached flier in your emails or on the information sheet at the front desk carefully for eligibility, rehearsal and show dates.

CDA’s Mini-Kinder Program offers fun and age appropriate dance classes to toddler, preschool and kindergarten children. The Mini-Kinder Program at CDA is designed to encourage the successful development in each age group of physical and cognitive development through dance along with developing, motor skills, dance skills and overall strength, flexibility and coordination.

The Company TrackProgram ✨
This is an invitation only program that represents the highest level of pre-professional training.

Columbus DanceArts Academy is very proud of the success of its Company Track Program in providing students with the training necessary to be the best dancer they can be. The program staff has had years of success in training pre-professional dancers and will always strive to support our dancers in any endeavor that they undertake. For those wishing to move on in dance after graduation, CDA will offer pre-professional counseling and will work with the dancer to develop the strengths necessary to meet their dance career goals.

This program has an established track record of working with every dancer, supplying many with scholarship opportunities to dance in college or other pre-professional/professional programs, while offering all dancers a fun, physical, extracurricular activity proven to produce better students and better citizens along with excellent dancers. These dancers have the privilege of auditioning for feature roles for various shows, traveling around the nation to take master classes and workshops to further their dance education, and have several performance opportunities throughout the year.

CDA FALL KICK OFF CHALLENGE

What?
Pick up a beautiful new CDA yard sign from the office, place the sign in your yard and take a picture of your CDA dancer doing any type of kick next to the sign, post the kick-pic on social media, and TAG Columbus DanceArts Academy (or you can email your photo to Kate at [email protected]). Keep the sign in your yard for a week, and then return it to the CDA office!

Obtain your sign from the CDA office. If signs are out on assignment, there will be a sign up list!

When?
September 5th through December 5th

CDA Fall Kick Off Challenge
Participants will be entered into a Student Ambassador Raffle!
Ambassador raffle entries will be randomly chosen for 3 prize gift baskets:

Prize 1.) Mini-Kinder students
Prize 2.) Academy and Progressive students
Prize 3.) Pre-Company and Company students

All entries will be shared on CDA’s social media pages! Looking forward to seeing the fun pics with your kicks!

This program is for any dancer from 1st grade up to adults! We offer Beginning, Intermediate, and Advanced levels for Ballet, Tap, Jazz and Hip Hop for all age groups.

Classes meet once a week and are between 45-60 minutes in length. Curriculums for each age and level are designed to educate dancers in their art form’s vocabulary and technique and to challenge each dancer to encourage personal growth and advancement.

Register now for fall dance classes. Spots are filling fast! Classes begin Saturday, August 29th!
