Thanks so much to all of you who came out to the Westerville Sports Complex this morning and joined us in our return home to Westerville! What an amazing day for a race! The vibes were immaculate at the 2026 Hunger Heroes 5K brought to you by WARM (Westerville Are Resource Ministry) thanks to all of YOU! Whether you participated in the 5K, ran in the the Kids Run, volunteered or spectated, you were a part of something bigger today and that is something to be proud of.

It's officially RACE WEEK for the WARM Hunger Heroes 5K! Here are a few reminders as we approach race day on Saturday, August 29:
👕You can snag your swag early at the Columbus Running Company - Westerville location on Thursday and Friday during normal store hours! Can't make it to Early Packet Pickup? No worries, race day packet pickup begins at 7:30AM.
🍎Want to make an even bigger impact? We’ll be accepting food donations at the event. Every donation helps WARM fight food insecurity right here in our Westerville area community.

Race week is here for the 5th annual Sloane Swanton 5K Research Run! Join us at the Westerville Sports Complex this Sunday, August 30!

Early packet pickup will take place this Friday, August 28, and Saturday, August 29, at Westerville's Columbus Running Company location during normal business hours. Registrants can also pick up their packets on race morning at the race site, starting at 7:30 am. The 5K will start at 9 am and the Kids Fun Run (approx. 100 meters long and just for fun) will take place at 8:45 am. We are also excited to offer a virtual 5K option again this year for those who cannot attend on race day but would still like to support On Brave Wings and Pediatric Chordoma Research.

We have just ONE MONTH to go until the second annual OCAO Strides for Hope on September 20th at the Dublin Community Rec Center! Join OCAO as they promote early detection of ovarian cancer and celebrate survivors. The mission at OCAO is to promote early detection of ovarian cancer with advocacy, education, awareness, and public outreach to improve outcomes and help save lives. They also work to support women who have been diagnosed with ovarian cancer, as well as their family members.

The Steps of Faith 5K Walk/Run is just one month away! Join us Sunday, September 20 at the Westerville Sports Complex for an afternoon celebrating what your body can do.

Run, walk, or wheel your way through the 5K, take on the 1-Mile Fun Walk, or bring the little ones for the Kids Fun Run. Every step supports The Heinzerling Community and its work serving individuals with disabilities.
