Excited to share that my painting Ready for the Rift has been accepted into the Ohio State Fair Fine Art Exhibition, professional division. 🖤

It’ll be on display for the entire run of the fair at the Cox Fine Arts Center. If you’re in Columbus this summer, I’d love for you to go see it in person.

This is the kind of moment that reminds me why I make the work I make.

This painting is about the parts of ourselves that we carry, give to others, or try to hide. Regardless, we’re made up of all different kinds of parts and even though some might not be pretty on their own, they make a beautiful whole.
