n 1992 I met Joel at an NPPA conference in South Carolina. Myself and some other photo journalism students took the road trip from Florida in my little Chevy truck. I have been following his ark project for a few years now. Super beautiful and I think very Important work
I know he doesn't remember meeting any of us but we were inspired by him. I remember his comment to my tiny 8x10 album of pictures, "this is the smallest portfolio I have ever seen." HAHA

Getting ready to rekindle an old best friendship that according to the film boxes expired in 2009. I can't believe how EXCITED I am. Thanks Elle for the challenge. I have written down shoot a case of film so many times at new years and just ignored my desire.
