Yes, there will be DJs and dancing, but that’s a staple of any Austin event. 😉

What makes the harvest party stand out is the HARVEST! 🌾

We will open with a cacao ceremony to bless the land and thank it for all the nourishment it provides us. 🐓

Then we split into various groups for farm tours, yoga and lounging. 🌱

Farm tours are given via tractor rides! A group will head down to the gardens to harvest veggies for dinner while learning about the potency of the land from Farmer Sam. 🚜

Since space on the farm tour is limited (tractor rides can only fit so many people at once) options for yoga, lounging or even wine tastings are available. 🍷

After all our veggies are harvested, our chefs will get to work preparing our sides while we perform a legendary sound bath for you. 🎼

G Spot Campers .led and with the quick Vegas pit stop on the way to Reno.

Reno for 2 nights to prep, then our build starts Friday!

And our first two campers are off!

G Spotters and are pulling this 27’ box truck with our shared camp infrastructure and individual totes & crates from Austin to Reno - a 26 hour drive through West Texas, New Mexico, Arizona, and Nevada.

They should arrive to Reno on Wednesday, before heading in to Black Rock City early Friday morning with the rest of our early build team.

Our build will be Friday & Saturday, then the Burn begins Sunday.

The road to Burning Man 2023 begins!

Kitchen Boys

Over the weekend, lead by our Kitchen lead , a bunch of us got together to prepare 380 meals for our camp before heading out to Burning Man.

To keep things easy and streamlined, we opted for the “sous vide” cooking method - where all the meals are fully cooked, vacuumed sealed, and frozen in advance.

Then, out on the Playa, the pre-cooked & frozen meals can be dropped into boiling water and eaten.

The method will minimize the amount of preparation, cleaning, and equipment necessary out at Burning Man - while still providing great tasting food for our camp members.

The first members of our camp embark for Nevada in exactly one week - next Monday, Aug 21!
