Comedy Night in Driftwood! June 13th (this Saturday) at 6PM!

This Saturday, we are back at with another great lineup of some of Austin’s funniest comics.

We will start letting people into the performance space at 5:30 - but get to the venue with plenty of time before then to check out the scenery and enjoy their products! The show will start at 6 and will run until about 730.

The fool who runs these shows left his car unlocked on May 20th with his camera bag inside. This is a video that features the voices of 2 people in of 1 person that took my camera and lenses ($3000), and another that paid him and told me they’d never seen it when asked (paid him $350 total).

1. a gravely toned crotchety fellow whose voice I will now hear next time I read any Hemingway novel or short story, where a down-on-his-luck drunk is introduced to the story.

2. an associate of one of 12 pawn shops I went into 3 days after this video was shot and not properly discarded. A woman, when asked if she’d seen my camera, avoided eye contact with me as if our irises connecting would have petrified and hardened her into limestone.

Everything but my audio recording devices and impact hammer driver have been recovered. My hunt has expired. But his voice, that sounds both like it’s dehydrated and drowning at the same time, will be heard forever.

On Saturday, May 23rd, we saw our biggest turnout yet at over 100 people in attendance.

So many people asked when the next one would be that we got it booked quickly so those spots can be reserved. So the next Spicewood show will be:

We will be back with our friends at - and we’ll be seeing if we can fit even more people on a pickleball court!

This Saturday - May 2nd - Come out to to enjoy some of their delicious wines, and see another lineup of some of the funniest comics around!

Arrive around 5:30pm to get your drinks and take your seats. The show will start around 6:30pm and finish up around 8:00pm.

We have a new lineup every week, so no show is the same. The comics featured on these shows, and especially those closing them out, in a few years, will be performing in venues much larger and with ticket prices much higher, so don’t miss your chance to see them in this unique & intimate setting.
