Driggs Snowscapes Snowscapes is an annual free public art competition in mid January. Snowscapes has been a part of the Idaho snow sculpting calendar since 2012.

Snowscapes uses one of our most abundant natural resources - Teton Snow to bring winter art to our community.

Some early morning shots on Driggs Plaza of the 14th Annual Driggs Snowscapes sculptures taking shape. Stroll around the plaza to watch the artists in action today - 10 teams from across the U.S. - then shop and dine locally. Snowscapes brings economic vitality and foot traffic to our downtown - all powered by public art!

Sculpting continues until 1/23 at 5pm. See you Saturday 1/24 for the Final Frost! Come vote for your favorite sculpture between 10am and 4:30pm. Quick Sculpt at 3pm. Award ceremony at 5pm. Live music, food trucks, drinks, community fun!

The Downtown Driggs Association is putting out a call for teams for the 2026 Driggs Snowscapes: The Art of Sculpting Snow! Sculpting days are Monday, January 19 - Friday, January 23rd with the quick sculpt event, community voting and formal judging on Saturday, January 24th. We can offer complimentary lodging, breakfast and lunch daily, at least one dinner and 8x8x8 foot tall blocks to carve into masterpieces in beautiful Driggs, Idaho! $1,500 award for 1st place! The winner of the 13th Annual Driggs Snowscapes Quick Sculpt Challenge is Bill Dow for his sculpture shown here!

Five sculptors had 1.5 hours to carve a 4-foot tall block of snow in front of a big crowd. Their muscle and creativity revealed some awesome sculptures when the time was up!

It's a joyous gnome sleigh ride! Team Wyoming created this sculpture titled "Joy Ride" for the 13th Annual Driggs Snowscapes.

The winner of BOTH the People's and Kid's Choice Awards for the 13th Annual Driggs Snowscapes snow sculpting competition goes to team SF Snow Angels from South Fremont High School in St. Anthony, Idaho, for their sculpture "Guardian".

The all girl student team represents the next generation of snow sculptors. They have been training for the past two years under the mentorship of longtime snow sculptor, Doug Cassidy, creating display-only sculptures. This is their first year in the main competition and they knocked it out of the park!

The "Targheezer" is complete!! We are blown away by Alison Arnold and Team Wyoming's Driggs Snowscapes satellite sculpture at Grand Targhee Resort, a Snowscapes title sponsor.

The Targheezer kicks off the national Driggs Snowscapes snow sculpting competition at Driggs Plaza that starts TODAY, Monday, January 20th.

The 8 foot tall blocks of snow will take shape over the course of the week culminating in Snow Ball (Jan. 24) and the Snowscapes Community Block Party (Jan. 25).

The 13th Annual Driggs Snowscapes: The Art of Sculpting Snow is right around the corner!

Sculpting days on Driggs Plaza are January 20-24. Watch seven professional sculpting teams from Idaho, Wyoming, and Montana create a monumental, ephemeral, awe-inspiring art installation made entirely of snow.

Don't miss the Snowscapes Community Block Party on Saturday, January 25 from 10am-4pm. The day includes:
10am-2:30pm - People's and Kid's Choice Voting. Vote for your favorite sculptures!
1-2:30pm - Watch the exciting Quick Sculpt event
3pm - Snowscapes Competition Awards Ceremony
All day: Enjoy free hot drinks and treats from sponsor booths, Teton 6 Artisans at The Geo, and a giant snow slide!

Tickets are available now for Driggs Snow Ball with musical guest Boot Juice on Friday, Jauary 24th. Dance the night away in celebration of the Snowscapes sculptures and the glorious Teton Valley winter!
