Stories have power – the power to entertain, to challenge perspectives and to start conversations that extend far beyond the screen.

But storytelling also carries responsibility.

During Mental Health Awareness Month, Divinity Pictures is proud to highlight our strategic alliance with the National Alliance on Mental Illness Florida surrounding our upcoming film, “The Lost Identity,” currently in development.

Designed to keep audiences on the edge of their seats, “The Lost Identity” is an action-packed psychological crime-thriller grounded in a commitment to authenticity, humanity and meaningful dialogue – both on and off screen.

As filmmakers, we believe psychological storytelling should do more than captivate audiences. It should also approach complex subjects with care, realism and intention.

Through this alliance, we look forward to expanding conversations surrounding mental health representation in film and media, while continuing to build a project rooted in cinematic ambition and social awareness.

We invite you to follow our journey .pictures and -- join the conversation and help break stigma. 🤍

This is just the beginning.

Divinity Pictures recently joined alumni from University of Florida (UF) in support of International Gator Day, an annual global community service initiative led by the University of Florida Alumni Association that unites Gator Clubs® and affiliate groups around the world to positively impact local communities through volunteerism, philanthropy and acts of service.

Held at Metropolitan Ministries in Tampa Bay, the volunteer activity brought together UF alumni, community leaders and supporters dedicated to serving families in need throughout the region. Volunteers received a guided tour of the Metropolitan Ministries campus before assisting with accepting, sorting and preparing gently used donation items for underserved and homeless families. For Divinity Pictures, the event represented a meaningful opportunity to deepen its growing relationship with the UF community, while reinforcing the company’s mission of purposeful storytelling and real-world impact.

“Our stories are ultimately about people, resilience and the human experience, so serving families and individuals facing difficult circumstances is deeply aligned with who we are as a company,” said Abrraham Rockferry, founder and CEO of Divinity Pictures. “As our collaboration with UF continues to grow, International Gator Day was a powerful reminder that true impact extends far beyond the screen. We’re proud to connect with alumni in support of organizations, like Metropolitan Ministries, that are positively shaping the lives of those in need, every single day.”

The volunteer initiative also reflects the emerging collaboration between Divinity Pictures and the Media Production, Management and Technology Department within University of Florida’s College of Journalism and Communications, as both organizations continue exploring opportunities centered around storytelling, education and career development.

Divinity Pictures remains committed to creating purpose-driven films, while supporting initiatives that uplift communities and inspire meaningful conversations beyond entertainment. 🔗Link in bio for more info.

Film doesn’t start and stop with entertainment. 🎬

At its highest level, it becomes something more:
an economic force,
a cultural language and
a tool for real-world impact.

In a private conversation on The Impact of Film at the University Club of Tampa, producer Abrraham Rockferry explored that idea, alongside others, with Carali McLean, executive director of the National Alliance on Mental Illness Florida. Their talk connected storytelling to real conversations around mental health, education, community and more — giving Club members a first-hand look at how significantly film can pe*****te society.

From driving industries and creating opportunity …
to shaping how people and places are seen …
to supporting awareness through purpose-driven work like "The Lost Identity" ...
as Rockferry emphasized, "What we create carries weight."

The question is how we choose to use it as a society.

This past weekend, our Founder & CEO Abrraham Rockferry took the stage at the University of Florida (UF)’s Orange & Blue Film Festival — sharing his professional journey, the vision behind Divinity Pictures, and what it really takes to build a career in film today.

From insights on the evolving industry landscape, to a first look at our upcoming psychological crime thriller, "The Lost Identity," this exclusive talk provided student filmmakers with a moment of connection, inspiration and opportunity.

“It’s incredibly energizing to engage with emerging filmmakers at University of Florida," said Rockferry. "This is where the future of our industry is being shaped, and we’re proud to be an influential part of that journey.”

Moderated by Roxane Coche, Ph.D., Associate Professor and Chair, Department of Media Production, Management and Technology at UF, this Q&A opened the door for real conversations with the next generation of filmmakers. And that is made even more meaningful through our ongoing collaboration with the University of Florida’s College of Journalism and Communications.

Moments like these are profound and meaningful because it's where the future of the industry meets those actively shaping it. We're proud to be working with the UF Journalism & Communications and Media Production, Management & Technology Department to help prepare rising talent. Thanks again Orange & Blue Film Festival for having us!

Before you know the story, you feel it. That’s the job of a film poster, and it’s never accidental. 🎬

For "The Lost Identity," producers and designers began with the film’s emotional core of psychological tension, moral ambiguity and the unease that follows you long after the screen fades to black. Illustration became the bridge between our story and audience by using color, composition and symbolism to express tone of voice and emotion, not plot.

Swipe through to see our poster's evolution:
• the initial concept,
• the illustrated design,
• a small focus-group screening, where we watched how the image landed,
• and the awesome response from our audience on social media.

"The Lost Identity" is a psychological crime thriller produced by Divinity Pictures, featuring a multicultural cast from Hollywood and around the world — created to resonate across borders and perspectives.

Here, we’re developing more than films. We’re shaping the future of entertainment – while making an impact.
