A themed monthly storytelling show where each month, audience members have the chance to put their name in the bucket to be called on stage to tell a true, personal story in five minutes.

To ALL the True Stories community, I, , want to thank you for years of lifetimes of memories. Getting to know you through your stories has been a highlight of my life. The show may be over, but your stories remain powerful. Keep telling them.

The time has come for goodbye... FEB 29 will be our final show as I’m stepping away to focus on other projects (FLORIDA GIRLS, my debut novel comes out May 28, follow me )

I’ve been running storytelling shows in one form or another since 2011 — first in New York City in 2011, The Next Chapter at Greenwich Village’s at the incredible Le Poisson Rouge. Then when I went to Pittsburgh for my mom’s final stage of life in 2014, I started The Story Syndicate at Cannon Coffee. And though I didn’t plan on staying in Florida either, I started a show here — True Stories.

The past 13 years have been a labor I’ve loved sharing with you.

Story or no, if you’re in St. Pete Feb 29, please come and say goodbye!

The time has come for goodbye... I'm stepping away to focus on other projects (if you want to get a taste of my debut novel coming May 28, check out the first comment!)
