A La Carde Studio is excited to again be part of our region's largest and most prestigious arts festival, the Red River Revel. This year, the Revel's 50th anniversary, we will be there every one of the eight festival days, enjoying art from all the vendors, food from local restaurants and community organizations, and the fabulous music. In celebration of this event, for the entire month of September, we will be sharing some of the art we will have available in our A La Carde booth. As neither Debbie nor Babs has met a color or technique they don't like, their work is eclectic, but most importantly, every piece is original -- never prints.

Maybe you could use this trick, fellow artists. If the back of your art is unattractive, glue some craft paper around the edges. Then spray with water and let it dry. Over time, the paper will dry taut, leaving a professional look to the framing.
