Sometimes life just sucks.

It's hard. It hurts. It's tough. And it doesn't stop for anyone.

I suffer from depression & sometimes the only way to get the thoughts out of my head is to draw. When I create things in times like this, it's not pretty. It's very messy & unorganized. Sometimes even chaotic.
But it helps.

When drawing doesn't help, I hit my knees & pray that God will do anything to help me.

I don't think that hard times are often talked about in church or even among Christian enough. Maybe there's a stigma behind this topic. But maybe there shouldn't be.

If you're...
-Going through a rough patch
-On medication long-term
-Feel like you might be going a little crazy
-Think things are out of your control
-Need therapy
-Need to talk to someone
-Can't see past today
-Feel shame for not being able to take care of yourself

Know that you aren't alone.

I'm literally right there with you.
But most importantly, God's right there with you.

Holy Monday & anger....

Just before turning tables, Jesus goes outside to pause and prepare His heart to make sure His anger is directed in a truly Godly way.
I hear it time and time again that God won't throw more at you than you can handle. Let me tell you right now, I WAS NOT ready for what today had in store for my family and I. And I'm mad. I'm pi**ed off. I'm so angry. Today was a harsh reminder that I'm not in control of anything except how I react to things. I promise you today I wanted to flip some tables and throw some chairs!!!!!
Instead, I prayed, let go, and let God. Sometimes, it's really hard to do the latter.
