Despite all the ways the world is going sideways, we can still count on the stellar raw talent at the 26th annual Yeast By Sweet Beast experimental music fest on Mar 6, 7, 8, 13, 15 & 18. arch 7, Saturday March 8, Sunday March 9 & Saturday March 15. At the juncture of music therapy and practical performance, the four afternoons and evenings of Yeast By Sweet Beast 2025 will be chock-full of the roster of creative musical thinkers who continuously push the boundaries of sonic expression. Austin favorites VHU, Gone to Earth, Travis Burns, Ratarue with Glossolalia Online, Justin Bernard Williams, Slothful Induction, Heavy Stars & Ouiness will perform, along with 40 plus of the most cathartic sound smiths ever to touch effects pedals, strings and sticks. Dr. Bobby Banner will be hosting a mini-showcase of experimental rap artists such as Fly Cooley, Ratarue with Glossolalia Online, Sam Borello from Houston and many others on the third festival evening Sunday March 9 at Sahara Lounge. Carousel Lounge and Highland Collective will also serve as venues for Yeast By Sweet Beast 2025, curated (as always) by the lifelong music-crafter Anne Heller. Admission is only $5 every afternoon & evening of the fest!

Bluestar is journeying thru trippy beautiful soundscapes to close out Yeast By Sweet Beast 2026. Thank you for accompanying us on this sonic adventure! Special thanks to the always iconic and kind folks at Carousel Lounge for hosting so many festival dates this year and to the Lost Well for opening their doors and hearts to us! Thank you to every single act who participated in the Yeast By Sweet Beast fest this year, thanks to sound engineers Brad Goehl and Ian McIver at Carousel Lounge (with special support thanks to Clutch Cardone) and Josh at the Lost Well.
