What a special joy for the DJ Express to entertain at a double birthday party for Dad, Wayne Dunlap, aged 80, + his daughter, Hillary, aged 50 at their beautiful Malvern home on Sat, 5/16. Wayne's wife Catherine was fabulous as she put so much work into planning the party that included a state of the art dance floor under a huge tent, 5 food or dessert trucks + a large group of friends who celebrated both Wayne + Hillary. Mom hired the DJ EXPRESS after learning we specialized in this type of event + that we were great with Oldies + teaching country dances. The crowd did a great job of picking up our dance lessons including the Electric Slide + the top Ella Langley #1 hit, CHOOSIN TEXAS. The entire day was so much fun for everyone.

Entertaining kids of all ages is one of the Specialties of the DJ Express. Such was the case on Sunday, 5/17, as our company was asked for the 5th year to DJ the wonderful kids + family event at the West Goshen Park near West Chester, Pa. The occasion was the annual "Bubble Walk, Fun Day" sponsored by ARC, which provided numerous fun games for the participants. In addition, the DJ Express led the kids in the hula hoop + limbo contests, which are always so popular with the kids.

It's an honor when the DJ Express is asked to come back year after yr to provide the entertainment at various social events. Such was the case tonight, 4/25, when for 8 straight years we have dj-ed at the World Marriage Encounter group. Their local chapter had their dinner-dance at St Thomas the Apostle Church in Glen Mills + wow what a fun time. The dances that got everyone on the floor were the Electric Slide, the Cupid Shuffle, YMCA, MOTOWN, Brick House + Play that Funky Music W. B. However, they also enjoyed lots of classic slow songs. A big thanks goes out to Thomas Kelly who coordinated all the details with our DJ.

What a fun time tonight, 4/24, at Bishop Shannahan High School in Downingtown, Pa, as the DJ Express was asked to lead line dancing for a Silent Auction/Dinner Benefit for the School. The crowd was very energetic + responsive to our Instructor Jim Dawson who taught a few dances + also led them in requested dances like the Macarena. It was great to see so many people committed to helping the school raise money for this worthwhile cause.
