Arty Night Out

Ages 5-11
Location: East Ward Elementary

Come enjoy a night out with friends creating mixed media masterpieces created with watercolor. tempera, acrylic, oil and chalk pastels and so much more! We will explore artists from around the world who will influence our imaginations and creativity.

Don't worry about rushing to get dinner made, pizza is included for an extra $10 fee. Bring an extra $10 if interested in joining us for pizza!

Please register early — program will be canceled if no one is registered at least 5 days in advance

From sea to shining sea, America is full of beautiful monuments, skylines, landscapes, and wildlife! Explore the stunning scenery that the states have to offer as you learn about Louisiana crawfish, create an arty armadillo from Texas, and explore a St. Louis cityscape

Practice painting techniques as you discover Oregon's Multnomah Falls, lighthouse along the New England coast, and rock formations in the Utah desert

Create artwork inspired by this magnificent land from sea to shining sea!

It’s a Jungle Out There! Art camp did not disappoint! The energy of instant friendships, engaging art, and learning about the rainforest and wild life in the canopy, understory, and on the forest floor truly inspired some brilliant masterpieces and a ton of fun!! 🎨🌳

Celebrate by exploring your creativity and making meaningful connections. In our art classes, you'll learn new techniques, express yourself, and make new friends along the way. Congratulations to the talented students of Abrakadoodle Chester County, PA on their beautiful collaborative art project!

🍦🎨 Happy National Ice Cream Day! 🎨🍦

Art and Ice cream, my two favorite things!
I've always believed that art and ice cream have a lot in common...

Both are a little messy.
Both make people smile.
Both are better when shared.
And there are *way* too many wonderful colors (and flavors) to choose from!

Watching children create art reminds me of watching them enjoy an ice cream cone. They dive in with excitement, aren't afraid to make a mess, and somehow every masterpiece—or every scoop—is uniquely their own.

So today, here's to chocolate jimmies and rainbow sprinkles, watercolor splatters, chocolate drips, paintbrush swirls, and the beautiful creativity that comes from simply saying "YES" to a little fun.
