IMPORTANT BUSINESS ANNOUNCEMENT

It has recently come to our attention, that due to misrepresentation & misleading social media posts by others regarding our DOWNERS GROVE ICEARENA, INC brand, we need to clarify for the Village of Downers Grove consumer & surrounding communities.

After serving the Downers Grove community for 52 years, in July 2024 the owner chose to move its business along with its staff & customers intact & still retains its legal business name & brand.

In August 2024, Black Bear Sports Group, LLC purchased ONLY the brick & mortar. It did NOT purchase the rights to the DOWNERS GROVE ICEARENA business name or brand.

We hope this helps to clarify any misleading information by others.

It has been an honor & privilege to have served the Downers Grove community & surrounding areas for 52 years.

While we are saddened to close the door at our current home, we are pleased to announce that we will be consolidating our staff & programs with our "sister rink" Carol Stream Ice Rink beginning April 30th & look forward to providing the same family friendly environment that you have come to know & trust.

We invite you to join us as we turn the page to a new chapter & continue our 52 year ice rink legacy.
