Delaware Friends of Folk The Delaware Friends of Folk serve the greater Delmarva Peninsula and beyond by preserving the legacy of folk music and welcoming the ever evolving folk genre.

The Delaware Friends of Folk non profit organization was established in 1992. Programs vary and are supported in part by grants. Our annual Delmarva Folk Festival is a family friendly weekend with music, camping, beer tent,, food & craft vendors, and kids area. Friday night is the finals of the Folk Hero Contest and the winner opens for the Saturday festival acts. We've hosted many years of great music with national, regional, and local artists. Bring your cooler but no bottles. Rain or shine!

Fort Folk Fest featuring Paul and Begoña has everything you need for one of the final Friday nights of summer: live flamenco and Latin music, a relaxed outdoor setting, room to gather with friends and free admission.

Bring a chair and meet us under the Fort DuPont Pavilion this Friday from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. No tickets. No admission fee. Just a great evening of live music at Fort DuPont!

We’re excited to welcome Treefolk to the stage alongside Wicked Sycamore on Friday, August 28th at 7PM for a special night of music and fundraising in support of Delaware Friends of Folk!
Blending the storytelling roots of folk with the raw energy of folk punk, Treefolk brings powerful lyrics, passionate performances, and a whole lot of heart (plus a kazoo or two 😉) to every stage they step on.
Joining them is Wicked Sycamore, an all-female trio bringing intricate harmonies, thoughtful arrangements, and a fresh take on contemporary folk. For fans of Sarah Jarosz, I’m With Her, Gillian Welch, Molly Tuttle, and Lake Street Dive, this is a night you won’t want to miss.
