ecarte dance theatre ecarte dance theatre was established in 1981 as a contemporary dance company in the Dover area. The Division promotes Delaware arts events on DelawareScene.com.

Dedicated to dance performance throughout the state of Delaware, the group's major performing concentration is within Kent County. The company seeks to offer its audience productions drawn from a variety od dance forms and to explore and integrate other art forms in the performance works it offers. The company endeavors to serve the community through presenting the dignity of the human condition i

n a specific and a universal way through the art of dance. Dancers of all ages and ethnic backgrounds are encouraged to offer their unique gifts in an effort to present as rich and true a statement as possible. This organization is supported, in part, by a grant from the Delaware Division of the Arts, a state agency, in partnership with the National Endowment for the Arts.

Attention adult dancers and would-be dancers! 🩰🩰

If you always wanted to learn ballet, if you danced as a child and have fond memories, or if you are a trained dancer looking for a home, Dance Directions has a class for you!

Dance Directions will be offering adult ballet classes this fall for all levels:
Beginner Adult --Wednesday, 6:30-7:30
Elementary Adult--Tuesday, 6:30-7:30
Intermediate/Advanced Adult--Monday and Thursday, 6:15-7:15

Please call or text 302-270-8124 to register. Classes begin September 5th. Adults of all ages and abilities are welcome!
