A lot of times we ask as teachers we ask you to buy, buy, buy our fundraiser items and forget to say thank you and show you the awesome items we’re able to get because of your support.
So because your loving children at Sweetwater Elementary and Parents bought field day shirts (design exclusive to Swes), and filled up on candy, chips, and drinks during field days we’ve been able to restock and help out the Art Room. There are some rubber non slip mats now in front of the sinks, refilled up on much needed pink markers, there will be a new paper drying rack coming, new plastic boxes to hold art items, construction paper crayons, and sidewalk chalk (not pictured). Thank you for your support of the Art, Music, & PE programs at Sweetwater Elementary. 😍😎

Did a bear drawing with my Tombow Irojiten Vivid colored pencil set. Eh I still need more work with them and I know me me I’ll redo it in watercolor. it was based on our trip to the park and lack of fall colors right now in the south. The paper was charcoal because I save my smooth paper for my marker worker. So don’t use charcoal.

They’re always so precious when they’re napping or sleeping. When I got back from Suwannee to pick him up he was napping still while most of the others were up. He can sleep thru a bomb. Sorry about the crappy handwriting the “precious” decided that was a good time to rock back in forth in his chair and mess me up 🙄.

When you get to listen to a great artist, get free materials, and learn how to use them it makes for an awesome day. When you’ve been an art teacher for 10 years you start thinking omg this is perfect follow up for what we’re doing now, my kids will love this, oh this one student I used to have would love a copy of this book I need to buy a second for them, yep always a teacher.
