Happy Monday! ☀️ Whether you’re returning back to school for the first time this school year, or you’re going into your second or third week, let this prayer from our founder / president, Terrye Y. Hicks, inspire you to have a great week!

*** A Prayer For Our Students ***

Lord, cover our students as they return back to school this week.
Protect them from dangers seen & unseen.

Let there be peace in the hallways, in the classrooms, on the buses, in the cafeteria, in the gym, on the field, and in every other part of their schools.

We declare that no weapon formed against them will prosper & everything that rises up against them will fail in Jesus’ name!

We thank You in advance for good reports. We thank You in advance for a great year. We thank You for smooth processes and transitions. We thank You that the students who are believers will be a light to those who aren’t. We thank You for meeting every student’s need.

Overwhelm them with Your love. Fill their classrooms and their hallways with Your holy presence. Let Your peace win over fights, compassion over bullying, joy over depression, and love over hate.

We cancel every assignment of the enemy to come after our youth, and we say: God, have Your way in their lives. We declare there is a hope & a future for our youth, and we put our expectation in You to bring it to pass!

And I thank You, Lord, that this will be the best year yet for every student. In Jesus’ name! 🙏

Happy Juneteenth! ❤️💚💛🖤

Juneteenth is short for June Nineteenth, which marks the enforcement of the Emancipation Proclamation in Texas in 1865. It was Union General Gordon Granger who read General Orders No. 3 stating that all slaves were free. Today, it commemorates the end of slavery in the United States and is also known as Freedom Day.
