✏️ Are your kids out of school and wanting to play more chess?? ♟️ Come out tonight (and other Tuesday evenings this summer) to Mural City Coffee in Downtown Dothan at 6:30PM! We meet upstairs (there’s an elevator for easy access) in the back conference room. Hope to see you and your young one come out!

💡 Did you know chess can protect against dementia? Regularly engaging in cognitively demanding activities like chess may help delay or reduce the risk of dementia and Alzheimer’s by building "cognitive reserve" and stimulating neuroplasticity.

Congrats to one of our local schools, Houston Academy, that are tied for 1st in the Rookly Chess Tournament ♟️🔥🏆

HA Chess rises to the top ♟️🔥

Huge congratulations to eighth-graders Collin Cheng and Derek Sharp, along with sixth-graders Alex Handal and Sid Shetty! Competing against teams from across the U.S. and Canada, our Raiders tied for 1st place with The Leffell School (NY) in Week 7 of Rookly’s online chess tournament—finishing ahead of 13 other teams.

A strong showing of strategy, focus, and Raider pride! 🧠♟️
