It’s been a minute since I’ve done an update on Izzy. It’s so hard to believe this little one bit me when I found her, simply because she was so afraid of human touch. She was unbelievably skinny.

It took some time to earn her trust. I’ve never seen a pup be so scared to be touched, but now she’s thriving! She loves car rides (she FREAKED out on her first one) and loves to be loved on. She has learned how to play with toys. Bentley is her best friend. She loves all the extra treats just for being cute.

It’s amazing what time, patience, and love can do for a pup who obviously never experienced it. I am so proud of her and how far she’s come. She’s happy, healthy, and loved.🥰

Good morning, y’all!

This is Nova. She has been with us about two weeks now. I came home from work and she was here begging for water. I’m assuming someone probably dropped her off.

She is the sweetest girl, and just begs for you to love her. She loves scratches, getting all the extra treats, and loves all the compliments about how beautiful she is. She doesn’t mind sitting on the porch beside you to relax. There is something quite comforting about having her there.

She is so sweet to all the other animals. That’s my biggest fear when a stray dog shows up, but she doesn’t pay them any mind.

I guess you could say that Nova is here to stay. She has her vet appointment coming up to be spayed. She is overall a healthy girl. She just needs some fattening up, and she will definitely get that here!😂
