We are excited to welcome our newest resident Lil Saint Wally! He was donated with a multitude of other residents from an anonymous Caribbean benefactor, and we are so grateful to rehome him into our “up close and personal blubber buddy experience” exhibit! He is extremely friendly and ready to welcome you to the Dothan Aquarium! Come by and swim with Wally while tickets last!

*Disclaimer* Please do not ingest alcohol around Wally, as his personality can be overly affectionate.*

Here at the Dothan Aquarium, we realize that aquatic depression is very real, and our residents are not immune to its destructive consequences. Every year, countless victims are ravaged and harrassed by lonely dolphins across the globe. For this reason, on September 13, our Volunteer Aquatic Therapist will be bringing awareness to this issue by hiking Old Rag Mountain. He will be hiking alone, to symbolize the loneliness suffered by dolphins everywhere, and using only box wine for hydration. If you’d like to support the Dothan Aquarium’s efforts, feel free to donate below and leave us some kind words of encouragement

Aquatic depression is a real and pressing issue, and the residents of the Dothan Aquarium… Dothan Aquarium needs your support for Hiking for Dolphin Awareness

As many of you know, times are tough, and businesses are struggling. Our beautiful aquarium is not immune to the turmoil in the economy. With that being said, after months of negotiations, we are thrilled to announce that Elon Musk has agreed to leave his position at the White House to assist us in ridding our aquarium of waste, fraud, and abuse as he heads our new Aquarium Systems & Sustainability – Habitat Analysis Team (A.S.S.H.A.T.). He will be setting up shop in our manatee rehab office in order to begin assessing our bloated ketamine surplus. Initial assessments are dictating that we immediately cut wasteful filtration costs from daily to biweekly, as well as putting our most obese aquatic residents on a strict diet. Soon these savings will be passed along to our customers via healthier and slimmer manatees, walruses, and belugas.

As our community knows, we devote our resources and time to research. Working with The Department of Evolutionary Neuroethology, we are currently engaging with a study in the effects of alcohol and the effects of mating. Our manatees are being fed copious amounts of alcohol to encourage aquatic passion. Sailors and lost mariners have traditionally swore by the exotic seductive nature of manatees, but alcohol likely played a part in these encounters. Bring by a bottle of any liquor and receive a free ticket to swim with the manatees prior to inebriation!

Alcohol increases the release of chemical s*x signals and makes males more attractive to females.

With Big Government attacking our sister facilities in the Gulf region, we would like to address a few misconceptions:

1. “Algae and green water are part of a natural ecosystem, and they bolster immunity to Polio, hantavirus, and multi-drug resistant tuberculosis.” — R. F. Kennedy Jr.

2. Animals thrive in small exhibits. These allow for the animals to ground themselves!

3. Journalists are destroying the small aquarium craft!

Please, support our friends and enjoy their algae fortified waters. To address these issues in our own facility, we have taken a page from Trump playbook and create the Governance of Aquatic Efficiency or G.A.E. Please, join us in supporting the G.A.E agenda and visit our aquarium today!

Local, state and federal leaders have joined forces to address issues at Gulf World Marine Park in Panama City Beach. Here is the latest:

We are excited to announce that we have reintroduced our resident right whale into the its native waters today. This critically endangered whale was outfitted with a tracking device (seen in the picture) so we can track its journey back to a normal life. You can track her progress on the app Whale Alert! Safe journey to Frank Whale Right!

As many are aware, winter weather has descended upon the Wiregrass! We were extremely blessed that our local police station had confiscated multiple space heaters from a homeless encampment last night, and generously donated them to our humble aquarium! Thank you Dothan PD for keeping our people safe and our marine life warm!
