Humphreys Street Studios Humphreys Street Studios is a working community of artists and artisans in Dorchester, MA near Uphams Corner.

Humphreys Street Studios is a working community of artists and artisans. Six buildings are joined in two groups providing artists with 26,000 square feet of studio space, including a courtyard and a large back yard. The buildings contain approximately 30 work spaces. The variety of work spaces for artists include a three story mill building, a two story brick building and a lofty cement block structure with rows of skylights.

We can’t wait to see what Artee's Foods is cooking up for Open Studios this year. Artee’s Foods serves Southern comfort and Cajun-inspired food with a focus on flavorful, approachable dishes made for community events, catering, and pop-up service. For Dorchester Open Studios, we are planning a short, family-friendly menu with easy lunch/snack options and beverages.

Planned menu:
- Jambalaya Egg Rolls
- Cajun Chicken & Rice Bowl
- Cajun Fries
- Lemonade / Bottled Water

“We are delighted to have talented, local musicians performing in the driveway on both days of Open Studios. Saturday, DJ TROY Frost ( DJ TROY Frost ) will be sharing her unique blends. A daughter of Dorchester and Roxbury, raised in a family where music was an anchor.  She is an artist, educator, and event curator whose genre-blending sets reflect a lifelong love of music. Sunday, we’re welcoming the lovely band Forty 40 back in the afternoon. Thank you AlienArtCube for the photo from last year. 

Sound systems really make or break a performance, and we’re also grateful to have Dominic "Diggity Dom" Glaude ‘s crew as our sound engineers for both days.”
