Recently, Everyday Art had a FABULOUS time teaching TWO Art Workshops - totaling a little over 88 artists!! katiekoernertcarr Katie Carr, co-founder of , taught several different abstract techniques, as well as a seascape- while co-founder, Maureen Sullivan Maureen Sullivan, ensured everyone was set up for success and served as a generator of inspiration! The duo worked together to foster an environment for expression, truly representative of Everyday Art values and mission.
Techniques included a rim to make a circular abstract sun, plaster to create textures, including different household items you could use to design within the plaster (think fork or spatula) - and how you can mix primary colors to fashion the perfect COLOR of YOUR Caribbean Sea.
It was an honor to be included in the kickoff celebration for the brilliant and dedicated educators of the Los Niños Primero Summer Camp. How cool their leadership thought to have a fun day, showing how much they value their team, before the energy started!!
Maureen and Katie noticed passion, determination, talent, JOY, and overall amazing vibes from the group- feeling incredibly grateful for the opportunity to hang out!
