River Mist Wind Works

River Mist Wind Works River Mist Wind Works is an Arts & Crafts store creating wind chimes and laser art. Produced in various voices (Alto, Suprano, etc).

River Mist Wind Works specializes in custom Wind Chimes, set to your desired song or tune. I can also tune to different temperaments, such as Renolds I, 19-TET in addition to Western 12-TET. For example, one commonly requested set is the Westminster Abbey Bell chimes. I tune mine to the frequencies used at the time of the Abbey's bells creation (Renolds I) rather than 12-TET used today. I also do

custom laser engravings of river maps, with various levels of detail, from just the river and major landmarks/accesses up to topological detail. Paddles, due to limited engraving area, are limited to relatively simple mappings. In addition, photo engraving of area attractions at various sizes can be done, as well as personal photographs you submit. Though not in my catalog, I've done restaurant tables, pistol grips, gun stocks, military, LEO, EMS, and Fire Services plaques and such as well.

New Map! Detailing the upper St Francis River, starting near Bismark the map follows the river eastward to Farmington, then southward down to the Greenville Recreation Area. Covering just over 1000 square miles, the map features major roads, county roads, access points, camping areas, larger creeks, and white water rapids (with names where I've been able to find them). Hillside shading shows the topography through which the waters flow. Framed in at 20 x 42 inches with a clear coated hickory frame made from local wood.

I made this beautiful sassafras Little Black River paddle for a fellow who offered me two boards of it in exchange for making it. Sassafras is hard to come by, and these boards had been seasoning for years so I jumped on it! I might have enough left for four or five more paddles. I'll have a second one I made with the full Current River at the Farmer's Market tomorrow.
