‼️Attention Donalsonville, Seminole County and surrounding communities‼️
We want to take a moment to address recent rumors and misleading information regarding the future of The Rodeo Restaurant in our community.
We have personally been made aware of the concerns being shared, and we want to assure our citizens and business community that The Rodeo is not leaving our city. While rumors can spread quickly, it is important that we rely on accurate information and not speculation.
As Chairman of the Downtown Development Authority, I remain committed to supporting our local businesses, promoting responsible growth, and working together to keep our downtown a strong and vibrant place for residents, visitors, and business owners.
We are proud to have The Rodeo as part of our community and look forward to their continued presence and success.
I encourage everyone to please seek information from reliable sources before sharing or repeating rumors. Our community is stronger when we support one another, communicate responsibly, and focus on facts.

✨Meet Our New Downtown Development Authority Director: Hannah Roberts✨

The Donalsonville Downtown Development Authority is excited to welcome Hannah Roberts as our new DDA Director!

Originally from Colquitt, Hannah brings more than 20 years of experience in retail and business management, serving communities throughout Colquitt, Bainbridge, and Donalsonville. She is the owner of Graceful Oaks Gifts and Apparel and has a heart for small businesses, community growth, and building meaningful relationships.

Hannah moved to Donalsonville 6 years ago when she married, Jeremy Roberts who has called Seminole County his home his entire life. They have two children, Lanie Lambert and Coulter Birdsong, and they all have grown to truly love this community.

As she steps into this new role, Hannah is excited for the opportunity to give back to the community that has become home. She looks forward to casting a vision for taking downtown Donalsonville to the next level by supporting local businesses, encouraging collaboration, and helping create an even more vibrant downtown.

One of Hannah’s first priorities will be getting out into the community to meet each of our downtown business owners. She is eager to hear your ideas, gather feedback, and explore ways we can work together to make downtown Donalsonville the very best place to shop, dine, visit, and grow a business.
