Join Mike Griffin at Adamah Art Studios for a hands-on ceramics workshop focused on taking familiar, everyday forms and exploring new ways to approach their function, construction, and personality.

Whether you're just beginning your watercolor journey or looking to push your existing work in a new direction, In The Flow is designed to meet you where you are.

This unique intensive is shaped around the needs and interests of the artists who attend. Each day will include shared technique demonstrations, plenty of painting time, and individualized feedback from Helen to help you strengthen your skills, explore new ideas, and move your paintings forward.

Participants will also have the opportunity to explore:

✨ Painting on nonabsorbent surfaces like Aquabord and watercolor canvas
✨ New techniques for expanding your watercolor practice
✨ Mounting and sealing finished watercolors
✨ Displaying watercolor paintings without mats or glass

✨ Cutting Concepts: Exploring Greenware Decoration with Sam Oliver
Discover stencil-resist techniques for decorating greenware, create your own reusable stencils using a digital vinyl cutter, and explore hand-building, slip application, layering, texture, and negative space. Along the way, you'll develop design ideas through sketchbook practice and thoughtful discussions about concept and process.

✨ Voluminous Vessels with Suze Lindsey
Spend the week hand-building expressive, sculptural vessels inspired by drawing and sketchbook exploration. Learn to use paper patterns, drop and drape molds, and a variety of slip-decoration techniques while developing forms that reflect your own unique visual language.

🎨✨ What a wonderful week at Watercolor Beginnings with Stacy Hilton Klutzke!

This workshop was a reminder that everyone starts somewhere. Whether participants had never picked up a watercolor brush or were looking to build a stronger foundation, Stacy created a welcoming, encouraging space where everyone could learn, experiment, and grow.

By the end of the week, students had gained confidence, explored new techniques, and discovered just how rewarding watercolor can be. Thank you, Stacy, for sharing your knowledge and enthusiasm, and thank you to this fantastic group for embracing the process with such curiosity and creativity!
