Get your hands muddy and experience the magic of the pottery wheel! This beginner-friendly class is the perfect introduction to wheel throwing and a fun way to try something new. Instructor Cesar Duarte will guide you step-by-step as you learn how to center clay, pull walls, and shape your very first pot on the wheel.

Add a pop of color and personality to your garden with a fused glass bird stake! In this fun, hands-on class, you’ll design a whimsical bird using vibrant glass pieces and learn the basics of fused glass techniques. Artist Lisa Humke will guide you step by step through the creative process as you cut, arrange, and design your own unique piece.

After firing, your glass bird will be mounted on a metal stake—ready to brighten up flower beds, planters, or pathways. A perfect evening for nature lovers and art enthusiasts alike! No prior glass experience needed—just bring your creativity and curiosity. ☀️🌸

Your piece will be kiln-fired and ready for pick-up a few days after class.

This workshop focuses on techniques for creating larger-scale ceramic pieces without overexertion. You’ll explore:

• Approaches to working beyond typical size limits
While pieces may not fully dry during the session, you’ll gain the skills and confidence to continue working big in your own studio. Expect to push your limits and leave with new techniques—no matter your current experience level.
