June is Dairy Month here in Wisconsin — a time when we celebrate the farmers, families, and traditions that keep this state grounded. Around here, agriculture isn’t just an industry. It’s heritage. It’s identity. It’s the backbone of our communities.
That’s why this month, we’re highlighting photo sublimation — one of the most powerful ways we preserve the stories that matter. Sublimation isn’t just printing. It’s a process where heat and pressure fuse an image directly into metal, creating a finish that’s crisp, permanent, and built to last.
The photograph comes from Mike Smith of Magic Light Photography, whose eye for rural Wisconsin captures the kind of moments that deserve to be preserved — barns, fields, sunsets, and the quiet strength of the people who work the land. His images carry the heart of this region, and sublimation lets us turn that into something you can hold, display, and pass down.
For Dairy Month, we’re proud to bring together two crafts — Mike’s photography and our sublimation work — to honor the farmers who make Wisconsin what it is.
If you’ve got a photo that tells your story — a farm, a family, a memory worth keeping — we’d love to help you turn it into something lasting.
