DESHLER, Neb. — Jake Bubak made his first trip to Victory Lane with Bybee/Martin Motorsports in dominant fashion Sunday night, driving the No. 9B to victory at Thayer County Speedway during the showdown between the ASCS Gunsmoke Sprint Car Series and ASCS Midwest Region.
The Arvada, Colorado, driver was in command throughout the feature, showcasing the strength of his partnership with crew chief Jason Martin. Bubak’s commanding performance demonstrated just how formidable the driver-and-owner combination can be in ASCS 360 Sprint Car competition.
Bryant Wiedeman of Colby, Kansas, was no slouch aboard the Ochs Brothers-owned No. 1X, turning in an impressive performance to claim the runner-up position.
Fresh off a tremendous weekend at the Belleville High Banks 305 Nationals, Joey Danley continued his strong run by rounding out the podium in third.
