A year ago I was nervously testing with gold leafing, struggling to keep it in place, trying to avoid discoloration, and shaking trying to keep straight honeycomb lines. And look where we are now.
Same inspiration, same base materials, completely new approach. It’s not talent, it’s practice and experience.
While I absolutely love this hat, she won’t be staying with me and will be available on the website soon if she is not claimed. Satin and denim band, gold honeycomb charm, floral bundle, and a heavily distressed look with that bright gold filled engraving she is an absolute showstopper and looks good with so many different colors and styles. She’s also sporting that slight pulldown on the brim, not too western, but just enough curve to be flattering on almost anyone.
