James Stevens Guitars & Ukuleles Handmade custom guitars & ukuleles Every family that I know has a musician whether they play an instrument or sing. At least that's my family and friends.

When someone mentions a tune, someone will start singing, tapping, or clapping and then everyone gets involved. It's just plain fun to sing (even off key) when the whole group gets involved. This is the motivation behind building small easily accessible instruments that can be grabbed on a moments notice and played, or taken on a family outing, vacation, short trip, or camping. The instruments I b

uild are small guitars and ukuleles. Yes, my instruments fit in the overhead storage of a plane, trunk of a car, or on the seat next to you. I've carried my travel guitars through the Panama Canal, to the east coast, west coast, and Canada with family and friends.
